This section contains help for the site. Sooner or later it will contain child pages to the left for help reference getting around the site.

Signing Up

You sign up using your full name complete with spaces. Unfortunately, if your name is “John Smith” then you may have to add something to your name if another John Smith signs up.

• Email: This is the email you will register your account with. The site will send you some messages regarding confirmation, and some notifications. It will not be exposed to anybody, and is purely for account administration. You will be given the opportunity to enter a “contact” on the SUOC portion of your profile that may be exposed to other people.

• SUID: This the id on your Syracuse University or ESF ID card. This helps us identify you to S.U. Department of Recreation Services. No one can see it but you and some administrators. If you are a current student, please enter it. It will help when we get the trip registration application up.

• Birthday: The software I care not to modify says is you have to be 13 years old. But put your real birthday down. Anyway, it will help us differentiate people should they have the same name.

You may log into the site with your name (as you entered it), the registration email, or your SUID, along with the same password.
